Gadar 2 (transl. Rebellion 2) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language period action drama film directed and produced by Anil Sharma, and written by Shaktimaan Talwar. A sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,[5] the film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma reprising their roles from the first film. In the film, Tara Singh returns to Pakistan in order to rescue his imprisoned son Charanjeet "Jeete" Singh during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971
